Museum Ladin Ćiastel de Tor
The history of the Ladin people in South Tyrol is unique and very diverse. For several years now, there has been the Ladin Museum, a museum, dedicated to the history and identity of the Ladin population.
The state museum, Museum Ladin “Ciastel de Tor” is located in St. Martin in Thurn in a characteristic residence tower which alone is reason enough for a visit.
Nowhere else can you find such a collection of information on the Ladin history, language and culture as in the Ladin Museum. Naturally the arts and crafts, the Ladin customs and traditions as well as their legends also play a large role.. Concerts and special exhibitions are also held on many days.
